SEAS originated as a teacher tool for easily creating and maintaining individualized IEP plans for students. With state-standard aligned goal banks, teacher-custom goals, and district processes, SEAS users report over two hours of teacher time saved per IEP. Complete Form Management

Process and Workflow Management
SEAS was designed so that it manages the district's processes rather than dictates a new process. With messaging and conference packet capabilities, SEAS puts control of how the system presents information in the hands of the district.

Dynamic Conferencing Functionality
As part of the SEAS automated IEP Process, administrators can select a group of forms and create a pre-defined packet or conference. This capability ensures that the proper forms are preassembled prior to a meeting, thus ensuring that individual special education teams are using the proper collection of forms. "Dynamic Conferencing" allows the user to insert additional forms into a conference "on the fly." With Dynamic Conferencing, you can immediately add new forms, blank pages, and duplicate copy forms to your student's packet.

Compliance Management
With the burden of paperwork and accountability increasing, school districts need tools that keep them in compliance. With timeline notification and district business rules incorporated into the system, SEAS provides that reassurance to teacher and administrators that they are staying in compliance - especially when the compliance rules change.

Related Services Tracking
Service professionals provide integral medical services as part of the school's commitment to the students and parents. SEAS has an integrated Service Tracker that allows these professionals to quickly build and manage their own caseload schedule. As the service sessions occur (whether group or individual), the service providers have a simple but powerful session tracking tool that allows them to record student progress as well as session notes that are vital in demonstrating the district's accountability.

Medicaid Claiming
The result of the SEAS Service Tracker is that the district has already captured all of the required information to submit Medicaid eligible claim information. SEAS has a full tool set that allows the district to monitor progress, extract data, send electronic claims, reconcile claim data, and provide a full set of reports.

Reporting and Analysis
SEAS is delivered with a full complement of management reports that allow the teachers to manage their own caseload as well as the administrator to manage the entire special needs program. Some reports that have been built into the SEAS program include:

Technology
SEAS is 100% web-based. This gives the users access to their vital information system anywhere they can reach an Internet connection. SEAS is cross-platform and supports both PC and Macintosh systems meaning that the district does not have to change their standards to accommodate a new system.

Integration
Today, a school district needs all of their information systems to work together. SEAS integrates completely with a district's student information system (SIS) in many different ways including SIF. This raises the district's data integrity, eliminates data redundancy, and saves real time for overworked district staff.
